I always lived near the sea. I think where I am most happy in when I am at sea level. My body weightless semi submerged... no need for for make-up,... deodorant,... books,... computers... Just the water, the sounds of nature, the sun, the scents... I become part of it. I can choose to see the expressions on the faces of the people entering paradise and gasping at such beauty. Every time I go to this particular beach, I don't know how the weather is like. I can probably read the blackboards at the entrance, but they really don't mean much to me. (They even have a cam) I just have to walk through this wooden path, shaded by trees and vegetation and it takes you there, to the surprised of the day. How is it going to be today,... I always think to myself, whatever it is, I am going to enjoy the moment. Last week I took my mom, and it was beautiful, so this morning I thought, maybe it's not as calmed... But there it is, amazing beauty, captivating,... I can help but say to a total stranger, what a beautiful day, and she says to me ... "I love the sound of the waves"... I just leave my things in the sand and get into the water... and I surrender... my mind and my body starts relaxing and to me... is like charging... plugging myself into the source... my attention is free to go from the tiny birds feeding themselves in the shore, the sun warming my arms, the sound of nature, the man next to me is floating in the water with only his face out of the water...
I remember something I read, or heard about this Greek philosopher, Heraclitus of Ephesus ? that the water in a river is always changing... you can never swim in the same river...
So there in the water, my mind wandering... how did evolution transitioned from the water to the land?... How the sea turtles still need both environments to survive?... How do living beings survive great cataclysm?, and the answer that I got from the source... is surrender... We must surrender so we can evolve.

Yes, Emma, the sea is relaxing. I enjoy going to the seashore and just looking at the magnificent ocean! When I want to feel close to the Universal Power that some call God, I don't go to a closed in church with all its pomp and circumstance, I go to the seashore and look out at its vast expanse and power and know that there is a Power greater than any other. And to step into the sea and immerse oneself is a truly relaxing experience.
