My father has this amazing ability to take a power nap for 10 minutes at will. We can be in a crowded noisy restaurant, and at one point he will say, “ I am going to sleep for 10 minutes” he will then close his eyes and 10 minutes later he will wake up invigorated.

Everyone is different and at the same time we are the same. For me to be creative and intuitive I need to relax; since the title of this blog is “1001 ways to relax” and I can only propose a few, I need your input, so we can help each other on our quest. To meditate for hours like Buddha or Mohamed is not realistic, but I am sure we can find ways to relax in our own ways. e.g. walk, swim, get a pet, play with kids. The picture of South Beach Park at the bottom of the page is a great start.
