Within each of us is an innate radiant wisdom. This may be obscure by pressures and concerns that takes over the mind. My quest is to balance and allow my inner radiance to bright my routine activities and interactions with others.
Light is very important to me. On sunny mornings I try to step outside for a breath of fresh air and soak in the brightness. I love the time of the year where days are longer and try to take advantage of the bright light when the days are shorter. Sometimes this can be challenging as I get on the car while still dark and also most modern cars have UV protected windows so I make it a point to walk at least 15 minutes at noon.
Natural light energizes and sustains us. To our metabolism spending the day indoors is virtually the same as spending the day in the darkness. Light is an "on" switch for the brain and senses. It speeds metabolism and delivers a burst of energy.
